Privacy by design

Claude Watermark Remover is designed to inspect and clean text inside your browser. Text pasted into the tool and supported text files opened with it are processed locally. The current version does not upload that content to our servers and does not require an account.

Data the tool processes

The tool reads the text you provide to identify supported hidden text artifacts. The current detector classifies observable Unicode characters and formatting controls. It may create a cleaned version in browser memory. Copies and downloaded files are produced on your device.

We do not store the submitted text, cleaned text, file names or detection results in a content database.

Basic service data

Like most websites, third-party hosting, DNS and security providers may process limited request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp and security signals. This data may be used to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose reliability issues.

The site uses a language preference cookie and may save a theme preference in local browser storage. Neither contains submitted text. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Optional analytics will be disclosed here before they are enabled.

External links

The site links to Anthropic documentation and may link to other external resources. Those services have their own privacy practices. Opening an external link sends your browser to that provider.

Security and retention

Browser-local processing reduces the amount of content we receive. Infrastructure logs, if collected by the hosting provider, are retained according to operational and legal needs. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can clear the tool at any time, close the tab, remove downloaded files and delete site data through your browser settings. Because Claude Watermark Remover does not store your text on our servers, there is normally no server copy of that text for us to retrieve or delete.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product gains features. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes to content handling will be described before or when the new feature is enabled.
